A satirical ducat struck skeptically upon the Peace Treaty of Utrecht of April 11, 1713, which resulted in the end of the War of the Spanish Succession (1700-1713). The treaty encompassed numerous agreements between almost all European states and largely remained valid until the Napoleonic era however many remained uncertain that Peace could be maintained.

England and France were among the key contracting parties. The latter had to recognize the Thorn succession of the House of Hanover in England and deny further support and asylum to the former English King James Stuart. In addition, Louis XIV, the "Sun King" had to renounce the union of government between France and Spain forever. France is represented on this ducat as a rooster dancing to the English harp.

The message from the legends of this ducat translates to mean, 'As soon as harmony was made, peace was brought out at Utrecht.' .
