Originally engraved by Jean-Pierre Droz, this Pattern issue was restruck in Brussels in the late 19th century by Auguste Brichaut (1836-1897) in collaboration with Atelier Würden. The restrikes were produced from entirely new dies, and exhibit three segments on their edge lettering as opposed to the original five segments on the edge.
