An excpetional provenance; from the estate of Ludwig Wilhelm, Duke of Bavaria (1884-1968). This medal was minted in gold on the occasion of the 90th birthday of Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria on March 12, 1911 and issued to the closest relatives of the royal family. Includes original case inscribed, 12 March 1911.
