The "Albert" prize medal is issued annually in gold (9 carats) for the Royal Society of Arts in recognition of outstanding contributions to the promotion of arts, manufactures and commerce. Seemingly a higher carat gold than noted on edge; PCGS has analyzed the surface composition with XRF at 60.13 AU, 39.87 Ag but there is a possibility that the surface plating is a higher carat than the entire planchet.

Housed in an oversized holder. Includes original case.
