Designed by Thomas Halliday for the London Mission Society, whose "Dove" emblem occupies the obverse, each variety undated, and exact time of manufacture remains unknown but is believed to be 1815-16. The denomination is not stated on any of the issues of this organization but these are all generally conceded to be the Penny or Pence series, which would technically make this copper coin a Farthing.
