On the landing of William III of Nassau-Orange in Torbay. The Jesuit Edward "Father" Petre (1631-1699) depicted on the obverse was the father confessor and a close confidante of King James II, who also acted as his advisor. The toy windmill in young James' hands refers to the popular belief that he was in fact a miller's son. Currently the finest known as of June 2026
